Lightstick is a portable and cost-effective light source. Each lightstick is a flexible plastic tube filled with two non-toxic chemical solutions, one kept separate in a liquid vial to prevent activation until needed.
To activate, simply bend the tube and shake it. This breaks the vial and mixes the chemicals. A bright light is released via chemiluminescence, a chemical reaction that converts energy into light without heat, flame or sparks.
No batteries or light bulbs are required. These light sticks are suitable for a variety of uses in combat, training and outdoor activities.
