True replica of the well-known Colt Peacemaker 1873 revolver – Black/gold colored
Designed by Samuel Colt in 1873. This revolver is also known as the SAA – Single Action Army. This was an incredibly popular revolver in the late 19th century, partly because it used the same ammunition as the best-selling rifle of the time - The Winchester M1873 rifle.
The revolver was available in several different barrel lengths. The shortest version had a barrel length of 12 cm, while the original Peacemaker model, on which this replica is based, has a 19 cm barrel.
There was also a "Buntline Special" model that had a barrel length of 40cm!
The revolver was popularized in the film industry with the spaghetti western films made in the 1940s-1960s and was used by, among others, John Wayne.
This replica is particularly suitable for exhibition and is constructed of metal and polymer.
Note: This reproduction is for display only and cannot fire. Barrel, hammer and trigger are functional.
