How it works - 12g Co2
The replica has a snap system, similar to the original - It uses 6 metal cartridges that are loaded with 1 6mm BB each.
You pull the rear sight to open the barrel and can thus quickly reload. Open the hand grip (small notch under the grip to open it) and insert 1pc 12g Co2 cartridge. Then use the tool that is in the loose grip to tighten the screw under the hand grip.
Put the loose hand grip in place. The revolver is now ready for loading the cartridges. For each shot you cock the hammer yourself, the revolver has a single-action trigger.
The story behind the quick-loading "knock-down revolver"
The original Schofield No.3 revolver was designed by artillery officer, Major George W. Schofield of the 10th Cavalry.
The US military ordered 1,000 Schofield No. 3s, and many were used by the 4th Cavalry of the Geremino forces, as well as the Buffalo Soldiers' 9th and 10th Cavalry.
The revolver was very popular among soldiers on horseback due to the revolver's folding system and quick cartridge change. This could be done in under 30 seconds.
This revolver is perfect for shooting practice both on the range and for plinking at boxes.
Equally suitable for those who want to exercise on shooting skills, as for those who just want a historical revolver in their collection!
