Borner AR CO2 Air Pistol 4.5mm – Ultra-Compact AR Platform for Maximum Control
Looking for an airgun that stands out from the crowd with a bold, modern look and fast-paced shooting excitement? The Borner AR is a unique, ultra-compact 4.5mm caliber CO2 air pistol heavily inspired by the legendary AR platform. Thanks to its reduced 485mm frame and manageable 2.75kg weight, you get a tactical platform that delivers lightning-fast target acquisition and extreme mobility during dynamic target shooting!
Store tip: While many traditional airguns can feel either too light due to being made entirely of plastic or unnecessarily heavy, the Borner AR hits the mark at 2.75kg. The combination of zinc alloy in the vital core components and durable polymer plastic on the outside gives you just the right, robust weight needed to absorb the feeling of recoil during rapid-fire sequences.
High rate of fire, 25-round magazine and superior ergonomics
The Borner AR is tailor-made for action-packed plinking and rapid-fire shooting. Since the pistol is powered by CO2 gas, it operates semi-automatically—the hammer cocks automatically for you, so you can empty the spacious magazine as quickly as you can pull the trigger. The included drop-out magazine has an impressive capacity of 25 4.5mm steel BBs, meaning much more uninterrupted shooting fun compared with traditional models with smaller magazines.
The heart of the weapon is a standard 12g CO2 cartridge, which is easily and discreetly installed in the grip. The system propels the steel BBs from the barrel at a muzzle velocity of up to 120m/s. The rifle’s compact AR ergonomics, with its straight pistol grip and strategically placed textured areas, ensure that you maintain a rock-solid and comfortable grip throughout the entire shooting session.
Don't forget the essential accessories!
To ensure an optimal experience and the longest possible lifespan for the seals in your new Borner AR, we recommend the following consumables:
- Balls/Ammunition: This model exclusively fires 4.5 mm steel BBs.
- Propellant: Make sure to purchase a bulk pack of 12 g CO2 cartridges, so you don't run out in the middle of target shooting.
- Maintenance: To prevent unwanted gas leaks, apply one drop of silicone oil to the tip of every fifth CO2 cartridge before screwing it in. This keeps the O-rings flexible, soft, and 100% airtight.
- Safety: Always wear approved safety glasses while shooting, as steel BBs can cause unpredictable ricochets when hitting hard targets.
