Ingenious two-way access and expanding beavertail
The Helikon-Tex Summit Backpack is designed for quick and efficient organization of your gear.The spacious main compartment has two separate access points: You can either pack from the top through the flexible rolltop collar—which also lets you compress or expand the pack’s volume as needed—or open the sturdy vertical zipper on the front. The front zipper gives you immediate access to items at the very bottom of the pack, without having to empty everything onto the ground along the way.
On the front of the pack, you’ll find an elastic mesh beavertail (mesh pocket). It’s large enough to hold a climbing helmet, tent fabric, or a thick winter jacket that you need to quickly put on or take off while hiking. The sides feature durable, elastic mesh pockets that are perfect for water bottles or a thermos, keeping hydration within easy reach at all times.

Comfortable carrying system and modular freedom
Comfort is crucial when carrying heavy loads over longer distances.Summit features an advanced and comfortable carrying system with rigid reinforcements, ergonomically shaped shoulder straps, and a wide, padded hip belt. The hip belt effectively relieves your shoulders by transferring the weight to your hips, and it comes equipped with two practical mesh pockets with zippers.
