The UMP (Universal Machine Pistol) was developed in the 90s and first entered service in 1999. The idea behind the UMP was to create a lightweight and powerful submachine gun and was designed to use .45ACP and .40SW cartridges, and later also 9mm. It is known from a number of films, including Matrix Reloaded, Bad Boys 2 and Mr. & Mrs Smith to name a few!
This UMP model in the sportline series is officially licensed by H&K(Heckler & Koch), and is a very nice copy of the original .45 caliber model. The airsoft version of the UMP has a standard metal gearbox, ABS body, folding stock, top rail and 21mm hand guard where you can mount equipment such as a flashlight, laser or telescopic sight. The gun also has both semi and full auto and is perfect for CQB games due to its light weight and small size!
In the package you also get a 420-shot Hi-Cap magazine, battery and charger!
