AW Custom (Armorer Works) HX2003 in 4.5mm (.177) caliber is the perfect air pistol for anyone who loves rapid-fire shooting, target practice and dynamic field sports (Air Action). With its all-black finish, long frame profile and lightning-fast, hard-hitting gas blowback, this pistol delivers an extremely realistic shooting experience defined by high precision.
Our store’s tip: The HX2003 is built on the same successful internal platform as the “Race Gun” HX2002 model, but comes here in a more discreet, tactical and all-black design. The long slide and weighted barrel provide perfect balance that absorbs muzzle rise. This makes it incredibly easy to keep your point of aim rock-steady, even when you empty the magazine as fast as your finger can manage!
Long profile for maximum control
The extended configuration of 223 mm and the 109.The 9 mm inner barrel isn’t just cosmetic—it gives the pistol a significantly longer sight radius and better balance. With a total weight of 1,070 grams including the magazine, it feels heavy and stable in the hand, just like a real full-size firearm. The grip features an aggressive, ergonomic texture that ensures a rock-solid hold in every situation.
The pistol is powered by a standard 12g CO2 cartridge that fits directly into the powerful HX 5.1 magazine. The CO2 system provides a solid muzzle velocity of around 330 FPS (approx. 1 joule of muzzle energy) and delivers stable, consistent pressure shot after shot.
Full-metal blowback and expanded equipment package
Every time you pull the trigger, the efficient CO2 blowback system makes the metal slide slam backward. This provides a highly satisfying mechanical recoil feel. With a magazine capacity of 30 steel BBs, you won’t have to deal with constant interruptions at the shooting range.When the last shot is fired, the slide automatically locks in the rear position.
AW Custom delivers a complete equipment package for the demanding shooter. The box includes a sturdy optical sight mount with matching screws, allowing you to quickly and easily mount a red dot sight for faster target acquisition. The integrated funnel (magwell) at the bottom of the grip guides the magazine smoothly into place during rapid reloads.
Important information about ammunition and operation:
- Ammunition: This air pistol exclusively uses 4.5mm (.177) steel BBs. It cannot be used with traditional lead pellets.
- Propellant gas: Remember to purchase 12g CO2 cartridges.
- Maintenance: To keep the internal seals and valves in top condition, we recommend applying a small drop of silicone oil to the tip of the CO2 cartridge at regular intervals.
