The original Daisy Model 25 air rifle was a BB weapon that had a pump-action mechanism rather similar to a pump shotgun. The Model 25 rifle dominated the market for over 50 years (1914-1978), largely thanks to a nice price and very good performance. Model 25 was designed by Charles F. Lefever and over 20 million copies are said to have been sold up to 1980.
Much of the reason why this model became so popular was that a normal Lever Action BB rifle normally had an output velocity of around 85m/s, but thanks to the MOD 25's pump-action system, this was at 110m/s. This of course made it the first choice for those who wanted a BB air rifle with good power!
Now the classic MOD25 edition has finally been re-released with all the good features you found on the old model! A classic that is very nice to shoot with!
