Snowpeak / Artemis Mercury AP1000 – Tough looks, a large air tank, and a built-in pressure regulator for perfect accuracy
Looking for an air rifle that’s extremely accurate at long distances, easy to use, and looks seriously cool? The Snowpeak AP1000 Mercury is a modern pre-charged pneumatic air rifle in 4.5 mm caliber that uses pre-filled air in its tank. With its long barrel and large air tank, this rifle is perfect for anyone who wants to fire many shots in a row and hit the bullseye every time, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced shooter!
Workshop insight: The best thing about the Snowpeak AP1000 is its built-in pressure regulator. With regular pre-charged pneumatic air rifles, the pellet velocity drops as the tank empties. The regulator in this rifle ensures that exactly the same amount of air is delivered for every single shot. This gives you a completely consistent trajectory and makes it incredibly easier to hit the target, even when the tank is starting to run low on air.Combined with the large 250 cc air tank, you can fire loads of shots before you need to refill the air.
Easy to carry and comfortable to shoot
The rifle combines the maneuverability of a lightweight carbine with the style of well-known military rifles. The lightweight stock has a comfortable rubber butt pad that rests securely against your shoulder. The clever part is that the stock can easily be folded to the side when transporting the rifle, or removed completely if you prefer.
The pistol grip is made of soft rubber and is modeled after the AR-15, providing a very natural and comfortable grip. At the front of the rifle, you'll find a smart M-LOK handguard with slots underneath. Here, you can attach accessories such as a bipod for maximum stability when shooting from a prone position. The rifle also has fixed Picatinny rails on the sides for mounting a flashlight or laser.
Ready for a scope and rapid shooting
You load the rifle easily by pulling a solid bolt backward and pushing it forward for each shot. The trigger can be adjusted in three different ways, so you can set it exactly as sensitive as you like, while an easily accessible thumb safety makes shooting completely safe. A long Picatinny rail is mounted on top, making it quick and easy to attach a scope or red dot sight.
The included magazine holds 12 pellets and rotates automatically with each loading stroke. There is also a built-in pressure gauge at the front of the air tank, so you can always see exactly how much power or air you have left in the rifle.
